Straw Painting Steps

1. Set up a tray with a heavy sheet of paper.
2. Fill an empty container with water colours and mix a small squirt of washing up liquid in with the colours.
3. Ask your child to mix the colours with small stick or spoon and drop a few blobs of the mixed paint on to the paper.

   Or draw a picture of their choice.
With a straw, ask your child to blow the paint around the paper and have fun.
